Teonn and Airionne have years of experience in management and in the home care and behavioral care industries. They are dedicated to serving these vulnerable populations and look forward to being part of a critical solution to reduce the homeless population in Cincinnati, Ohio. B.E.C. Home Care Inc. (BEC) is a corporation located in Cincinnati, Ohio. The company was established in 2014, and it is a family and minority-owned business. Teonn and Airionne Barfield are the primary owners and they have a strong desire to give back to underserved groups in their community.

BEC exists to serve vulnerable and overlooked populations in Hamilton, Butler, Clermont, and Warren Counties. Specifically, the company serves veterans, the elderly, children, and individuals with social, behavioral, physical, and developmental disabilities. The company provides permanent and temporary housing to these groups. BEC’s efforts to serve these populations ultimately result in rebuilding neighborhoods, producing jobs, and increasing economic growth. BEC also provides quality home care services to support independent living.

    • Supportive Living

    Supported living services are part of an array of residential service options that offer support and services. This allows individuals with developmental disabilities to live in the most appropriate and least restrictive home environment. This outcome is achieved with the independence and choice of the individual and/or the family involved.

    A person accessing supported living services may choose to live in their own home or with family, using supports provided through Ohio's DD system. Services and supports in a community setting are arranged locally by each County Board, as well as with local residential service providers.

    • Homemaker or Personal Care

    Home care for the elderly and disabled adults, many seemingly simple daily household activities and chores become significantly more difficult. Homemaker care ensures food stays fresh, obstacles that can cause falls are eliminated, and clean clothes are always available.

    With regard to in-home care for the elderly and disabled, help often just means a second hand helping with the daily tasks. Homemaking care can also be a great relief to family members who find themselves balancing time to keep their own home comfortable.

    • Residential Respite‚Äč

    Respite is for the caregivers of people with physical and/or intellectual disabilities, who need a much-deserved break now and then. We support caregivers by providing dependable respite workers so that they can take small regular breaks to rejuvenate.

    • Community Respite

    We are also here to provide support, companionship, and assistance to people with disabilities whether they are living independently in their communities or with their caregivers. Community Respite Service in the community for outings like swimming, concerts, movies, shopping, or a special event.

    Community Inclusion focuses on helping Individuals with developmental disabilities participate in everyday life in the community.We would work with Individuals and their Support Team to balance in-house programs that seek to prepare individuals for community life or provide a substitute for community engagement with the supports that individuals need to move from community presence to community
